Boyan Mak Mihaylov (b. 1977, Sofia, Bulgaria) serves as the founder and curator of this digital theological repository. My intellectual and spiritual formation was profoundly shaped by the sociopolitical upheavals attending the post-socialist transition in Eastern Europe. In 1991, coinciding with the collapse of the socialist regime, I embraced the Christian faith—a conversion that stood in stark contrast to the dialectical-materialist worldview that had informed my upbringing, wherein atheism functioned as a de facto state orthodoxy and fostered a pronounced skepticism toward religious belief.
This project was inaugurated in 2009 during my theological studies at the Bulgarian Evangelical Theological Institute (BETI). Initially developed as a personal aggregator of scholarly sources, the site subsequently evolved into a publicly accessible platform. Its enduring objective is to serve as an open, comprehensive resource for students of theology throughout the global academic community.
